1. Who we are

NFC Card provides NFC review cards that send your customers straight to your Google review page. The data controller for the data described below is the operator of NFC Card (nfc-card.site), based in France. 2. What data we collect

We only collect what's needed to run the service:

• Card manager accounts (sign up on this site): first name, last name, email, phone number, date of birth, and a password stored encrypted (never in plain text).
• Business owner accounts (created via an access code given by a card manager): first name, last name, email, phone number, and a password stored encrypted.
• NFC card scan data: when a customer taps a card, we automatically log the device type, browser, operating system, and approximate country. This is never linked to the identity of the person scanning — we don't know who tapped the card, only aggregated technical information.
• Cookies: see section 6 below.

3. Why we use this data

We use your data only to:

• Provide the service you signed up for (performance of a contract);
• Keep you logged in and keep your account secure (legitimate interest);
• Contact you if needed about your account or card.

We never use your data for advertising, and we never sell or rent it to third parties.

4. Who we share your data with

Your data is hosted by Hostinger, our hosting provider, acting as a data processor on our behalf. When a customer taps a card, they're redirected to the business's Google review page — once there, Google's own privacy policy applies, not ours. Outside of that, we don't share your data with any other third party.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account or card is active. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time — see the Contact section.

6. Cookies

This site only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work:

• Language preference (nfc_lang) — remembers whether you prefer the site in English or French. Kept for 1 year.
• Session cookie (PHPSESSID) — keeps you logged in during your visit. Deleted when you close your browser or log out.

We don't use any advertising cookies or third-party trackers (no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, etc.). Because these cookies are strictly necessary for the site to function, they don't require prior consent, but we let you know about them for transparency via the banner shown on the site.

7. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French data protection law, you have the following rights over your personal data:

• Right of access to your data;
• Right to rectification if it's inaccurate;
• Right to erasure;
• Right to restrict processing;
• Right to data portability;
• Right to object to processing.

8. Security

Your passwords are encrypted (hashed) and are never stored or viewable in plain text. All traffic to the site is encrypted (HTTPS).

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
